About Producer | Prophet’s Rock is a small, quality-focused vineyard and winery specialising in Pinot Noir and aromatic whites. Long-time winemaker Paul Pujol has an illustrious CV having worked vintages at Burgudny’s illustrious Comtes Georges de Vogue, he was cellar master of Kuentz-Bas in Alsace and has also done a stint at Oregon Pinot Noir specialist Lemelson. The Prophet’s Rock vineyard is situated high in the rocky hills of Bendigo, a subregion of Central Otago, the most southerly wine-growing area in the world. It is a lovingly tended vineyard and the wines are some of the most sensitively made, beautifully detailed in all of New Zealand. |
