| About Producer | It’s more than 50 years since Yveline Prat met her husband Alain at a rock and roll dance. Within a year, the pair were married and established a wine estate in the Champagne region. Her uncle Georges helped the pair in the early days and having no children of his own, passed on his farm, La Chapelle, and his knowledge to them. In creating a new range of prestige Champagnes in 2002, it seemed only natural to name it in his honour. This family-owned grower-producer selects the best grapes for its champagnes, which then spend years in their cellars to enrich their aromas and refine the wine’s sparkle. The Brut recently won a prestigious silver medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards while the rosé was awarded two out of a maximum three stars in France’s most important wine companion, the Guide Hachette des Vins. |
