About Producer	Black Chalks award winning English sparkling & still wine has been crafted over many years by their winemaker in their stunning Hampshire vineyards. They grow 34 different combinations of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Précoce and Pinot Gris. It all started in 2015, using grapes purchased from local Hampshire vineyards they produced small batch, traditional method, sparkling wines with the aim of showcasing the very best of Hampshire - bright fruit, purity and freshness. After launching their first wines in 2018 to critical acclaim the project has gone from strength to strength.
Additional Information	Introducing Paragon, a masterpiece of winemaking artistry that Black Chalk has been waiting almost four years to release. This exclusive Blanc de Blancs style, with only 3,535 bottles produced, embodies elegance and finesse. Its winemakers have selected only the best Chardonnay clones and chosen yeasts known for enhancing elegance and complexity. Paragon is comprised of 54% stainless steel-aged wine and 46% aged in oak cask, giving the wine a sumptuous mouthfeel. With no malolactic fermentation and no fining, this minimal intervention approach allows the wine's true essence shine through, with the Chardonnay’s purity being the star of the show. Deeply complex, round and fresh, Paragon lingers on the palate.
